soy cansada

Luckily my stomach is good, so far. However, me duelen los orejas. Es muy dificil eschuchar y comprendar espanol.
I am holding up though. I took my advil cold and sinus, drank lots of (purified) water, and una tasa de jugo de pina.

Today Diego and Isabel made us talk a lot and I was so bad. It is amazing how many times I can feel really stupid throughout the course of 4 hours. I think I am getting better, but it is still really hard.

Yesterday, our afternoon trip was to a Mueso de Cafe y Casa K'ojom Musica Maya. Me gusta Mueso de Cafe mejor que Casa K'ojom Musica Maya. The whole process of growing and drying the beans is really interesting. It takes something ridiculous like one tree for one pound of coffee. (see graph below) The whole tour was in espanol, so I missed a few things, but the tour guides spoke really slowly and clearly, so I understood most of it.

Manana I will be leaving for the weekend to go to Alta Verapaz with some people from my school. I don't know them all, but one is Rebecca, a really sweet woman from London. I don't know all the details, but there are cave, waterfalls, and archeological sites involved. I will report when I get back.

Those of you addicted to my blog, you know who you are, I may not post for a couple of days so don't freak out.

Hasta lunes.

Kiyomi,
Your spanglish is amazing, I can almost understand you. Good thing I am leaving this weekend or I might have a break down from lack of blogs from you. I will be camping with my future husband. Make sure you take lots of pictures of your trip and post them, so I can continue to live vicariously through you.
Do you wish you had brought the heels with you yet? Just checking. Enjoy your adventure!
